The Innkeeper's Lodge on the A6, near to our house and not far from the station. It's also the cheapest of the three listed here and is above a carvery restaurant.
This Travelodge, Manchester Didsbury, is very near the church for the Sunday service.
This is one of the nearest Premier Inns, Stockport South. A bit of a way out, the other direction to us from Stockport train station.

Where and when
The Christening will take place at St John the Baptist (CE), Heaton Mersey. The ceremony starts at 10.45am. There is an enclosed play area at the rear of the church, near the font. Also, baby changing facilities and a toilet.
Following the service, from midday, we're having a reception at The Heatons Sports Club, Green Lane, Heaton Moor. There is plenty of parking space and a lift for prams to the first floor function room.
Our house is roughly halfway between the church and the sports club, and we'll be around on the Saturday all day, if anyone wants to pop in.
We look forward to seeing you.
